Our organization was created by a group of
medical doctors in January 2004 in Miami,
Florida.
Our main goal is to give humanitarian aid
and assistance to disadvantage people, and
advisory to health care professionals around
the world.
Solidaridad Sin Fronteras,
Inc. was registered in the State of Florida
on August 23, 2004 with the document number
N04000008244, and obtaining the 501 (c) (3)
Tax Exempt status from de Internal Revenue
Service on August, 2004 as a Public Charity
organization.
We have developed
activities related to the establishment of
international medical networks, and delivery
of equipment, medicines, bibliography, and
other supplies.
Medical doctors and other health workers
coming from other countries to the United States
have received our assistance concerning to
their incorporation in the North American
health system. Additionally, we are helping
them with continue education, certification
procedures, emotional and psychological
support and legal assistance.
Taskforces of our institution had been
working in
Mississippi,
USA
(Katrina’s hurricane-2005), Nicaragua
(Felix’s hurricane-2007), Peru
(earthquake-2007), and Haiti
(Ike’s hurricane-2008).
Our mission has
a close relationship with other institutions
such as the American Red Cross, Miami-Dade
Community College,
School
of
Medicine-University
of
Miami,
Miami Medical Team Foundation, among others.
Founders of our organization are: Julio Cesar Alfonso, Luis F Cubillas, Jose
Tabio, Julio Cesar Cubillas, Otto Sanchez,
Arianna Torrejon, Alfredo Melgar, and Luis A
Rodriguez.
Membership of the organization is increasing
gradually year by year, and we hope to have
more members within and outside the
United States.
